Maybe I Have a Problem?? (or More Covers)

So I’ve been making a few of these the last couple of days. Housemate Jade is pretty convinced I have some kind of addiction right now. <.<;;

Coralyn is the other half of our Adelaide Nano blogging team and our Not-So-Resident e-ML. She’s up in BrisVegas this year but has refused to swap her region over because we’re all so totally awesome in Adelaide. XD

Housemate Jade has been working on Mythicals for a couple of Nanos now and it features the fictional couple of my heart: Adelaide and (Agent) Jones, pictured below by the v. beautiful Emma Stone and Jenson Button.

I also decided to redo my own Nano cover since the first one I did in about five minutes and I wasn’t really happy with the font. Hopefully I can come up with a better title during November! Only a couple more days until Nanowrimo!

More Procrastinating, More Covers!

So I found myself with some time on my hands again today. Or rather, I found some time that probably should have been spent on planning my novel/housework/other adult ventures but instead I decided to surprise some friends with their own Nanowrimo covers!

I’m only posting one at the moment as I haven’t got the okay to share the second cover yet, but enjoy!

I made this one for my friend Mel/Calli who is one half of our Adelaide region blogging team. Her novel is about an alien species who come to Earth promising a new era of love and harmony but not everyone believes this is their real purpose in coming.

My Nanowrimo 2014 Cover

Because I totally have other things I should be doing right now, I decided it was the perfect time to slap together a cover for my Nanowrimo novel this year!

I’m not 100% happy with the font but it was just a quick job. Yes, I know I don’t have my name on it. XD

If you’re of the graphic designer persuasion (or similar) you might also want to check out the tag #coverme on Twitter. The goal is to link designers with some spare time to give and authors who would love a cover! You can find more info on it here.

10 Reasons to be a Nanowrimo Participant

This post went up on my Nanowrimo region’s twitter the other night after an online ‘Plot In’ session. Since I’m supposed to be working on uni essays at the moment, of course I spent some time creating a handy poster with my reasons!

Anyone else doing Nanowrimo this year? 🙂 You can find me on the Nanowrimo site under Riverwings. I’d love some more writing buddies! 😀
